This necklace is handmade by me and not mass produced.
The Celtic lover’s knot necklace is sure to please even the most picky woman on your christmas list! The luxurious European vegetable tanned leather in your choice of brown, blue or black is complemented by a 925 sterling silver toggle closure. Each necklace is meticulously handmade, and due to the nature of leather, each one will be unique to you.
The endless knot used in this necklace is called the Eternity Knot or Lover’s Knot, as the shape can look similar to a heart. This is a great gift for a new first time mother, where the knot represents a trinity of the family (father-mother-child). Of course, in celtic lore this knot is a symbol for the power of 3, with meanings ranging from past-present-future, or the cycle of life (life-death-rebirth). Of course, it also just looks fabulous without needing any deeper meaning.
